According to a survey by (Richard Haworth) 320 people were surveyed, it found out that 60% had been forced to complain about the cleanliness standards of their hotel room. the most important places when we go to a hotel, we first look at the bed sit and bounce then we check the bathroom, towels etc and the impression we get of the hotel reception and entrance tells it all. T o ensure cleanliness detailed audits are of important for management to monitor what is been done in terms of cleaning and what need to be done more frequently. We all believe a feed back from the guests can really improve the cleanliness of a hotel.
The hospitality industry is a very competitive industry and for a customer to be satisfied is a big challenge of the business, so over all cleanliness is of very important role above all areas then the rest follows. Who wants to walk in a hotel or restaurant that stinks? one will immediately go back and want to spend there money on a stinky bedding's, bathroom etc.
